It's a wonder how clothes make the man (or woman). My mind was brought back to the time when I had a major crush on someone in my tertiary education and the way he dressed seemed to fit him perfectly. A certain type of T-shirt, paired with a jazzy short sleeved top, worn a-la jacket, and jeans of a certain cut, that made him look all the more handsome.
I believe that a five o'clock shadow on a man is meant to look like a five o'clock shadow. No more (not too much more), no less. Otherwise scruffy is the word for it and I do not like scruffy men.
Ever wonder why overseas born Chinese look better than the local (I.e. Singapore) Asian variety? This question has been on my mind for eons. There a lot of good looking Chinese men out there, but they're mainly situated in the western continents. They just appeal to me more than the home-grown type, that tends to look scruffier. Sure there are SOME local delicacies that have caught my eye, but in general, they are few in numbers. Even then, their personality may not match the looks. Oh, I've met numerous good-looking men who have zero or below in the personality department. Some words of advice to those men, more than 90% of the women worldwide ain't going to go for surgery to become barbie just to please you. Change your attitude, or be alone for the rest of your life because of it.
