Recently, the combination of Sweet Chilli Cheddar Cheese and Quince Paste, on top of an organic water wafer cracker was introduced to me by D. Normally, I don't like strong cheddar cheese, but this cheese was exceptionally smooth. I’ve to get the brand of this cheese. I’ve been fortunate to have been able to try so many types of different foods in Australia, as I perhaps wouldn’t have tried in Singapore, because it wasn’t really promoted, I suppose. Dukkah, quince paste, hommus and unfortunately, vegemite, are foods I’ve tried and tested since I’ve been in Australia, and more. In any case, when L came by recently (I think Tuesday?) to bestow me with homemade vegetable soup, I was really touched by her thoughtfulness. This was because I was really stressing about a major essay that was due and A. and she were kind enough to give their time and effort to help me read the draft of my first essay of two. (I’ve another one, which is due on Friday, so the next bout arrives! Gah!) D. was around too, giving me moral support, and had brought munchies of antipasto. Crackers, Brie, Sweet Chilli Cheddar Cheese, Pork + Chicken + Pistachio Terrine, and Quince paste was on the menu for the night. We gals just attacked the cheddar cheese and quince paste combo for the night; it was addictively and sinfully good! Ack, you’re evil, D! Hee hee! X-D
On another note, speed typing or rather, touch typing is a skill I’d love to acquire, since I’m amazed how D does it. I should have taken the initiative and picked it up when I was in high school (but then again, what can you expect from high schools during my time eh?!) and it would have made my life in polytechnic and university so much easier when doing assignments!
