Drving around, in my bf's ride...

Been trying to get my head around my dissertation and I reckon that I'll be doing quite a bit of work tomorrow. Please God, help me! :-)

Driving around Perth with D by my side, trying to fulfil the hours that my driving log book needs, has been a real eye opener. There are things that I realise now, about driving, that I had never thought of before. It's like when I would progress on, from each level of my education in SG. Each increasing level provided a new expanse, of self awareness of space, of personal space to a certain degree. I don't know if anyone has ever had a realisation such as this, but this is what it feels like to me.

Managed to get in about 3 3/4 worth of driving done today and I'm pretty impressed with myself, as I didn't feel tired at all during the whole journey, except when D had to take a nap at my place at the end of the whole journey, and that can make anyone want to have a nap too! :-P

We went to a place called Brighton, further north from D's house, just to see how far up north we could go and then headed south towards Mandurah, for some pies from Miami Bakehouse. Apparently they had won prizes for their pies. I had a garlic prawn pie, and it was divine!!! So nice!!! I'm glad that they've got an outlet in Melville, won't have to go all the way to Mandurah for them pies! After lunch, headed back to Perth, where D had his contagious nap.

Will post more about the Perth Royal Show a group of us went to on Sunday later on. :-)

11 hours more to go before the HPT test, and then 'P' plates... Can't wait!
