Die Hard 4.0

Went to see Die Hard 4.0 with a couple of mates, M, D, C and S on the 11th, Saturday night. A shame that L couldn't go as she had to mind the kids, and D was working at the restaurant... :-(

I've not seen the previous three versions of Die Hard, so i went into the cinema with an open mind and a hungry mouth for popcorn. It's the first film I can safely say that I've gone and said both; "oooooh" (as in: it's so cool!) and "ouuuww" (as in: that's gotta hurt), as well as laughed out loud for a particular movie. Bruce Willis still maintains his witty charm since his days as a private detective in the television series "Moonlighting", although sans hair. I did enjoy the movie thoroughly as there was a certain element of superman to the film. I do not know if a human being would still be alive, nearly unscathed even, after being shot at by a flying demon. (Note, I do not wish to provide spoilers of any nature for anyone about to watch the film.) So for me, this movie gets two thumbs up!

Oh yes, I did manage to see snippets of the original Die Hard film, and yes, Bruce still did have his hair. Oh joy! ^_^
