Supposed to have posted my thoughts and experiences, on my trip to
Monday: Big changes always happen in everyone's life. It's a fact of life. There is uncertainty, worries, and what the heart feels that makes it difficult for one to bear. Routine then kicks in and the level of stress that an individual has, begins to decline, for the better. However, if that individual is a woman and has her period, then that level just shoots up, to the same initial level, if not more. It's frustrating, when the mental and emotional stability in the woman's life has just begun and because of hormonal changes, it gets becomes unpredictable. One can only attempt to ensure that a path of destruction has not been left.
On another note, getting up in the morning and looking at my fridge has been somewhat refreshing, as the cool, misty evaporated molecules of water float past me. Rushed out of the house, in order to catch the bus, i missed breakfast. Not that there was any to begin with. I couldn't have cereal, since the milk was bad. I also had no time for juice, since there wasn't any. Oh well, lunch will be mine soon enough. Began to notice things, things that ones doesn't normally see in
Tuesday: Woke up late, and ended up a few mins late for class. The teacher’s pretty laid back, and I do appreciate that. I had lunch with O. outside the Ref, on a patch of shady grassy area. Whilst having lunch, Muslim students were sharing their culture and religion by singing in Arabic, and what I think is, from their memory of verses from the Quran. It was nice, that after the performance, they said the lines in Arabic, followed it English translation. I wish we had that in
After that, we went to the library, where we got some books out. Looks like I’m getting back into the swing of things! Jia you! I was about the leave the library, when I decided to go back, and try to find more books. I was so pleasantly surprised to see my good friend, K, from Brunei, as I hadn’t expected to see him at all, as I had thought he was back home for good! Went back to my place, and had a good talk, and a shop at Broadway, and we’re going to be meeting up tomorrow night for supper. Yay!
Salsa, was next on the menu, and I think that after doing it for a couple of weeks, D. and I decided that after 1-2 more weeks, we’ll try to get ourselves up another grade! How exciting! It’s great being in level 2B, as there are more moves to play with and that it’s more fun when you know what moves the instructor’s trying to tell you to do. I had a great time with the helping partners in today’s lesson, as they helped to fine tune several steps, and techniques! D. & I ended up totally tired and sweaty after dancing by ourselves with the music from the rueda, and it felt so good, to have more moves than before to practice on! Went back and watched an episode of Heroes, and I’m telling ya, D. looks like Hiro. Yay! :-) I’m dancing with a He(i)ro! :-P Alrighty, off to sleep! Write more when I’m more sane!
