...is that it takes longer to type and I have a lot more typos! I've been growing out my nails for the two weddings that I will be attending in November and want to look my best. However, that means that my nails will keep scratching the keyboard and interferes with the placement of my fingers on it. I will intend to type a certain word and then proceed to make a typo or miss out on typing a letter midway. As a woman, I do adore long nails as it makes me feel feminine. However, as a geek, it irritates the bloody hell out of me as I just want to type as fast and as accurately as I can, without feeling like I'm going to scratch off the printed letters on my keyboard. I personally dislike typing with long nails. So irritating! :(
The geek in me will be glad once the weddings have passed, as I will be able to cut it to a neat length and not have to worry about clawing my keyboard. I also forsee that my $$ will be flying away, but it's ok. Money can be earned and hopefully I'll be able to do so in the UK. *prays*
Anyways, I think I'll have to make a dress in Singapore, as I highly doubt I would be able to find the dress I want off the rack. Argh! :( (All because the visa is so slow!!)

Make-up test 1, 2...
I've been quite on a roll here with regards to make-up. I had my second attempt at putting on liquid eyeliner and I confess, it was quite bad. If I didn't have the black eyeshadow to help me cover the dodgy bits, I would have looked like a goth chick with an arm dysfunction. I think I'll lay off the liquid eyeliner and stick to the black eyeshadow as my eyeliner until I can get one of those eyeliner pencils. I think Revlon has a nice and affordable pencil, that even has a shapener on the other end of the stick! Handy!
The Clinique concealer I had purchased is quite a good product. It really covered what needed covering, though perhaps once I finish my almay one, and this clinique one nearly finishes in the future, I may hunt for a more affordable brand of concealer. I'll need to find a brand that I know will not be discontinued, because it is such a good and trusted brand!
I've also dug out my L'oreal make-up brushes, being the rat packer that I am, and decided to actually use them! They're good brushes, but just needed to be cleaned and used frequently, so I cleaned them yesterday and used them today! It's quite a nice feeling, using new make-up brushes, as they are the right tools than the smaller kind. I do have the smaller kind, but those are for if I am in a rush.
I have now decided to cull as much stuff as I can and begin to use the nice stuff, before either they expire, or I do (expire). :p I have so much nice stuff that I never use and I'm changing all that. I'm making sure I'm using nice things, as one only gets to live once. So it's always best to live the best way one knows how and can afford to do so. :) I'm now using a glowing cream given by C, and it's great! I'm learning so many new things! Hee hee!
My visa for the UK is taking quite some time and it's getting me worried. I may decide to blog about that another time.

Now Not to Pack for Two Countries
I don't know if anyone has been in this situation before, having to travel to two countries nearly back to back and having to pack all your belongings within a short span of time. Air hosts/stewadesses do not count in this particular instance. Why? This is because I'll also have to pack up my stuff for when we move house. It's such a hassle but it's got to be done. I have to cull a lot of junk. All of this before I travel to Australia and the UK.
I cannot stress enough, that in order not to have a headache when packing, one has to know what they are going to bring to the respective country and what to leave behind. It does not help as well when the warden of junk-must-all-be-kept lives with me. Be sure avoid such wardens when packing. :)
Argh, have got to go for now. The warden has awoken from her slumber. :)
